About me...

My name is Maribel Yartu and I am a Licensed Massage Therapist (LMT). 
I received my education from Miami Dade College-Medical Campus.  I had to pass 5 text courses and accumulate over 750+ ‘hands-on’ hours.  After graduation, I passed the National Certification Board for Therapeutic Massage & Bodywork state exam and became licensed in September of 2008. 

Why I chose Massage Therapy? 

Massage Therapy is as therapeutic for me, as it is for my clients. 
I enjoy being able to tap into my client’s state-of-mind and induce deep relaxation, even if it is for just an hour or so.  Knowing that I am helping my client’s body heal itself naturally, and that it is reaping all the benefits that a massage can offer, both physically and mentally, is what makes what I do rewarding.

It is gratifying for me to help others become healthier, happier and knowledgeable. 
This is the reason why I relay the following to the many people I come in contact with on a daily:

“don’t forget about yourself;
be good to yourself and make some time to do something for YOU! Your body WILL thank you.”
